KRGT-1

The actor Keanu Reeves' Arch Motorcycle Company debuts their first bike, the KRGT-1 V-Twin.

Traditional V-Twins have the intakes mounted on the side interfering with the rider's leg.  Having the air filter to one side of the motorcycle disrupts ergonomics and the balance of the bike.  To get around the side intake issue, Keanu Reeves teamed up with bike builder Gard Hollinger to launch the Arch Motorcycle Company.  Working with S&S Cycle they developed the Arch Down Draft Induction System, positioning it between the billet aluminum fuel cells on the newly announced KRGT-1.

The KRGT-1 features an all original V-Twin powered by a unique 2032cc motor developed with S&S Cycle.  The new motor is good for about 122HP and 122 lb-ft of torque with a 6-speed Baker drivetrain delivering power to the rear wheel.  The motor breathes through a unique downdraft induction system that channels air from intakes next to the headlamps through the center of its twin fuel cells.

Each KRGT-1 gas tank is machined from 534 pounds of billet aluminum. This 66 hour process yields two 9 pound fuel cells which are then custom finished and joined.  The billet aluminum swingarm requires over 17 hours of machining.  All of this work doesn't come cheap and if you are interested in buying one you better bring an eye-opening $78,000 check with you.
